FLCD is seeking a talented and passionate AI Trainer with a strong background in civil engineering and practical experience in architectural drawing interpretation to join our growing AI development team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and refining cutting-edge AI models that can accurately extract information from architectural drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Preparation and Annotation: Prepare and annotate large datasets of architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, to train and validate AI models.
  • Model Training and Evaluation: Train and evaluate AI models for tasks such as object detection, semantic segmentation, and text extraction from architectural drawings.
  • Algorithm Development: Collaborate with AI engineers to develop and improve algorithms for automated information extraction from architectural drawings.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze model performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Domain Expertise: Provide expert knowledge of civil engineering and architectural drawing conventions to guide AI model development.
  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality control procedures for data annotation and model training.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, particularly in computer vision and natural language processing.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in interpreting and working with architectural drawings.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with AI model training frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) software.
